2022 Covid update:
My highest priority is my and my client’s health, safety and wellbeing. I am currently only working with people who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. If you truly have a health condition which prevents you from being able to be vaccinated, please call me to discuss options. I require all clients to wear a KN or N 95 mask during the entirety of the session, and I do the same. Do not keep your appointment if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms of any kind, or if you test positive, or if anyone in your immediate environment has symptoms or tests positive, or if you have been contact traced recently. I will never ever charge for a missed appointment if you have cold and flu symptoms. Please call right away to let me know if you are not feeling well and are cancelling your appointment so I may offer the session to another. Anyone who knowingly has cold or flu symptoms and keeps their appointment will be forever dismissed from my practice, no exceptions.
What are your hours / rates, and do you have special discounts?
Full rates apply in-season, May through October.
My sessions include the full amount of time on the massage table. Additionally, I schedule a little extra time for check in, arrival, and slowly re-integrating back into your day 🙂 Please arrive on time and plan a few extra moments before and after your appointment, so your session is not rushed. Late arrivals are not guaranteed full session time. 24 hours are required for all changes to your appointment, or cancellations, or full fee may apply.
All sessions are by appointment, no walk-in sessions available at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience.
I accept cash, Venmo, and Island checks. Off-Island checks are accepted with photo ID.

I am a self-employed massage therapist. Missed appointments have a direct impact on my ability to earn my living, attend to other responsibilities, and may deny someone else from having an appointment slot who may be in pain or in need. Thank you for understanding my policies.
I require 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations and changes to the length of your scheduled appointment, and I enforce this strictly in summer season. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to payment in full. Upon arriving for your appointment, if you decide you would like a longer appointment than scheduled, I will try to accommodate if my schedule permits. If you decide you need to cut your appointment shorter than we have scheduled, that is fine, but I still have to charge the full appointment fee for the scheduled time if I do not have 24 hours’ notice for the changes. Thank you for understanding.
Cold, Flu, Infection
I have the flu. Should I come in?
No! No. No. No. No. No. No.
Please, stay home and rest, drink plenty of fluids and get better. Please do not expose your massage therapist to your illness! I will not work with anyone with a cold or flu. Ever. No exceptions.
Please think of it this way, would you want your massage therapist working on you if s/he had the flu?
If you have an appointment scheduled and are not feeling well, please call me to let me know you are cancelling. If you find yourself getting sick, or have been sick in the last week, or have any infection; or if you are exposed to a family member, co-worker, housemate, or friend who has a cold or a flu, please do not keep your appointment. I will never, ever, ever charge someone for a missed appointment if they are sick, even if they call at the last minute. Please, just call me and let me know. Thank you for understanding.
Disaster / Emergency
If you have had something urgent come up, please call me as soon as possible to discuss your situation, I am very compassionate.
Please plan ahead for times when the traffic is at it’s peak, for when the bridge is up or other considerations relative to a busy resort / vacation island in summer. In winter, if you are stuck off island in a blizzard and our trusty boats are not running, please call me. I will not charge.
If you are baking in the sun on the beach sipping an organic wheatgrass smoothie and just don’t feel like leaving and driving to your appointment, I may charge double 🙂
Alcohol and Substances
Please do not use alcohol, marijuana, or any recreational substances before your massage. Also, please consider avoiding use after your massage as well- enjoy the transportive, clear, beautiful space that the massage puts you in! I reserve the right to refuse massage to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or recreational substances prior to their session. Please let me know if you are taking any prescribed pain medication.
